Trainee IT Support Analyst

Due to the continued growth of the company and internal reorganisation at our Head Office in Bathgate, we are looking to recruit an ‘hands-on’ IT Support Analyst.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Log calls from departments, resolve or escalate where appropriate.
  • Application support.
  • PC builds and maintenance
  • Track and maintain hardware/software inventory.
  • User account setup and configuration.
  • Procedure writing.
  • Manage MDM for our drivers app devices.
  • Daily Back Ups
  • Manage IP telephone system.
  • Provide training for IT service users.
  • Any other duties where required.

Skill required:

  • Experience in a Windows environment.
  • Knowledge of Active directory and Exchange.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  • An Understanding of networking.
  • Basic printer troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Ability to follow direction and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  • IT related Qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

This is a challenging role requiring someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, a willingness to help out and learn in any IT issues. Must also have an enthusiastic drive for problem solving and attention to detail. 

The successful candidate must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter personal skills.  You will report to your line manager and there will be significant interaction with the directors of the business. You will therefore be required to develop relationships at all levels. The ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines is essential.

The hours are Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17:00 with a 1 hour lunch break.
