This Group Award’s aim is to give candidates awareness of teaching practice in Scotland’s colleges and to prepare them to develop practical teaching competences for learning and teaching.
The qualification is mainly aimed at those are relatively new to teaching and who want to acquire the skills and knowledge to competently teach learners, or those who are more experienced and wish to gain formal recognition of their skills.
