Electronic Books - An Introduction

Introduction

In addition to physical books, the college buys and subscribes to a number of online resources and electronic books to support your course work.

Within this section you will find links to our main Electronic Book collections.

Use your college Office365 username and password to log in. If you are already logged into your college account the books will open automatically.

Remember all these books are also accessible from the Library Catalogue.   

Ebook Central

This is our biggest collection of electronic books and covers a wide range of subjects. It offers key word and advanced search facilities.

VLeBooks

This is an additional collection of electronic books.  Click on the OpenAthens tab and then select or type in West Lothian College in the Institution tab. If you are already logged into your College Microsoft 365 account the list of books will then open. If you are not, you will be asked to sign in. Use your Microsoft 365 log in i.e., student number@west-lothian.ac.uk and the password you created.

Ebso Electronic Books

Only a few books available from this company. All these books are also available via the library catalogue link. Type Ebsco in the search bar and a list of the books available in this collection will be displayed.
