What can I borrow from the Learning Centre?

You can borrow books, DVDs and Journals:

• You can  borrow up to 5 items from the Learning Centre and 20 from the Public Libraries.
• There is no charge for requesting items.
• There are no overdue fines on College stock. The standard loan period is 3 weeks with some books available on seven or two day loans. The due date will be stamped on the issue label inside the book. If no one else requests the book you can extend the loan period by either speaking to the Learning Centre staff or online at https://wlcls.ent.sirsidynix.net.uk/client/en_GB/default# (my account section) You will need your student number and PIN Number, which is normally the first four digits of your date of birth. Eg. If you are born 4th May, your pin number will be 0405
• You can renew the loan period up to 3 times, thereafter the book needs to come back into the Learning Centre. Whilst there is no charge on overdue items, we still send/ phone overdue messages and expect the book(s) back on time. You may find access to the Learning Centre computer facilities restricted if items are not returned. The College will pursue any long overdue items.
